Mindfulness practice presents its own set of challenges, so it is important that you make the following considerations before you buy this course. You may wish to speak to your doctor or therapist as to whether it is suitable if you are dealing with any of the following:
This course may not be suitable for you right now if:
• You have had a very recent life crisis, such as a diagnosis of a cancer or a bereavement (we recommend not learning mindfulness until at least six months have passed).Whilst an existing Mindfulness practice will help and support you through difficulties, it is best to wait a while before beginning to learn how to practice Mindfulness.
• You are having suicidal thoughts or episodes of psychosis
• You have PTSD (we recommend a live course with a teacher with the requisite skills to support you)
• You are dependant on drugs or alcohol
• You have severe problems or vulnerabilities
