Are you an experienced Mindfulness practitioner?

Perhaps you have completed MBSR/MBCT/Breathworks or similar course and you are wondering what's next?

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with life's challenges? Do you find it difficult to find peace and happiness amidst day-to-day struggles? Do you find it difficult to let go of the past or perhaps your inner critic prevents you from really finding joy in life?

Welcome to the Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living Course, where you'll discover the transformative power of practicing compassion in your daily life. This course is designed to help you cultivate a sense of inner calm, self-compassion, and resilience in the face of life's challenges.

The course will offer you a series of new mindfulness practices, helping you to develop greater awareness of your reactions to thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. Through this process, you'll learn to respond to difficult situations with greater clarity and kindness, for both yourself and to others

In addition to mindfulness practice, you'll also learn techniques for cultivating self-compassion, which can help you to break free from negative self-talk, inner patterns and self-criticism. You'll discover how to treat yourself with kindness, care, and understanding, even during difficult times.

Throughout the course, you'll have the opportunity to connect with a supportive group of like-minded individuals who are also on the journey towards greater mindfulness and compassion. You'll be able to share your experiences, ask questions, and receive guidance and support from your teacher.

The program is evidence-based and draws on the latest research in mindfulness, compassion, and positive psychology. By the end of the course, you'll have a toolbox of mindfulness and self-compassion practices that you can use to cultivate a more peaceful, joyful, and fulfilling life and navigate life's challenges with greater ease and resilience. Join us today and discover the power of mindfulness-based compassionate living

Meet your teacher,

Lucy Woods

You might be wondering who I am.

I am a qualified Mindfulness teacher with a MA in Teaching Mindfulness (Distinction) from Bangor University's Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice. I also have an Advanced Certificate of Competence in Mindfulness Teaching.

I am  passionate convert to the life-changing practice of Mindfulness, which not only saved my sanity,  my relationships but also enabled me to find joy in life, which had been missing for a long time.

Before I discovered Mindfulness, I was struggling as a single mum, and living life on the edge of a breakdown. Something had to change.

I attended an 8- Week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction course and it completely changed my life.

I was calmer.

I was happier.

I was more confident.

Life was so much better.

And I didn't  stop practicing.

I wanted a deeper connection to the practice that had turned my life around, and I wanted to show others that same transformation. So, after redundancy, I trained to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and set about telling my little corner of the world all about the amazing benefits that Mindfulness can bring.

Since then I have completed my MA in Mindfulness Teaching and have gone on to further my practice and the courses I offer, which includes this wonderful course - Mindfulness-based Compassionate Living. I knew from my personal practice and reflections that Compassion was the vital ingredient to living a more fulfilling life. It has supported me in accepting who I am and in guiding me to live in a way that has meaning and is true to the values I hold.

I attended Lucy's Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living course in Feb/Mar 2023. The course has some incredibly useful techniques for helping to identify what's driving behaviours, making it easier to overcome resistance to living more compassionately. The recorded practices were very varied meaning that there was something for everyone and I greatly appreciate having access to them after the course has finished. If you've taken MBSR course, this is a great follow-on course to help you deepen your mindfulness practice.

Kate

Great way to reconnect with mindfulness practices and to engage with the concept of compassion in everyday life. An opportunity to really explore how you approach the inner critic and to bring compassion to ourselves and others. Lucy guides the group from a genuine position and presents an authenticity about the practice that I love.

Lucy is an excellent, kind and professional teacher who held the space with calmness and generosity. The course was tough and delicious in equal measure, with wonderful guided meditations and great explanations around the more didactic parts. It has really helped to deepen my practice and to recognise when I could benefit from showing myself some compassion. Thank you so much!

GF

A really great follow-on from the MBSR course - learning how to deepen and broaden practice in more challenging directions; lots of support from Lucy and a lovely group of people to be doing it with
